The $4000 fundraising target will supply the book to the five maternity wards in the Hospitals on the Darling Downs, for one year, Toowoomba, Dalby, Goondiwindi, Kingaroy and Warwick.
With generous donor's such as yourself, we can make the long term provision of "my little star" a sustainable reality, throughout the Darling Downs Hospitals.

I'm raising funds for the Toowoomba Hospital Foundation

To maintain long term sustainability of stocks initially, for the Toowoomba Base Hospital's Maternity Ward, of the story book "my little star".  With the future goal of placing this book in the regional hospital's,  that fall under the umbrella of the Toowoomba Hospital Foundation.

HOPE AND HEALING // Our THF team recently had the privilege of meeting with Rory H. Mather the author behind the My Little Star children's book, which is a beautiful tribute to all the little stars who cannot be here with us, and who live in our night sky.
The inspiration for this touching book stems from Rory and his wife's own journey they embarked upon in loving memory of their daughter, Evie.
Rory and his book publisher, along with a generous local donor have kindly donated number of copies of the book to the Toowoomba Hospital Maternity Ward to gift to families affected by the loss of a baby.
“My hope is that it will resonate with people and perhaps put into words things others have felt but not had the words to say. I also hope that it can be used as a gentle tool to discuss loss both with kids and adults as pregnancy and infant loss is something that is sadly too common but can be so hard to discuss.” – Rory
