Opening hours
The Toowoomba Hospital Visitor Car Park is open seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
Height restrictions
Vehicles up to 2.1 metres in height can enter the car park.
Paying for parking
You can pay for parking at the pay stations located on Level 2 of the car park or by using a credit or visa MasterCard at the exit boom gate. Apple and Google wallet are also accepted.
If you need assistance, the pay stations and exit gates have a call button which will ring our Facilities Officer or after-hours attendants.
Disability parking
Check-in is available from 2pm.
At the end of your stay, we ask that all guests check-out of their units by 10am.
If you arrive on the weekend, or after business hours during the week an after-hours check-in is available through the Toowoomba Hospital Security office.
Concessional parking
Concessions for free car parking at the Toowoomba Hospital are available to patients or carers who:
- hold a Commonwealth Government issued concession or health care card
- hold a disability permit
- have long term hospital stays or treatment needs
- require ongoing cancer or dialysis treatment
- have special needs and require assistance
- are Geriatric Adult Rehabilitation and Stroke Services (GARSS) or Rehab attendees
- frequently attend the hospital for appointments more than twice a week
Concessional parking permits need to be issued and picked up from the Foundation office. To arrange a permit please get in touch.
5-day visitor passes can be purchased from the Toowoomba Hospital Visitor Car Park pay stations on Level 2 of the car park.
Since 1996, Toowoomba Hospital Foundation has managed visitor and onsite parking with all profits going towards caring for patients and providing our hospitals and staff with the best possible equipment and resources.
