Staff Car Parking at Toowoomba Hospital
There are multiple paid parking options available to staff wanting to park at the Toowoomba Hospital. It should be noted that spaces are limited, waitlists may apply, and priority will be given to shift workers.
On Campus Parking

Rates effective as of 1 May 2024. Parking on campus without a permit will incur a fine. These fines are not issued by the Toowoomba Hospital Foundation and it does not receive any funds collected from fines. Staff Shuttle Service
Darling Downs Health provide a free shuttle service operating from 7pm to midnight, every night, to take staff from the front of the hospital to their vehicle along a defined route.
The bus departs every 20 minutes outside the Security Office at the main hospital entrance. For more information contact the Security Supervisor on speed dial 1112.

The issuance of parking permits are based on the developed criteria in accordance with QH Guideline - QH-HSDGDL-042-1:2014 Hospital Car Parking- Provision for Staff: policy statement and guideline principles and factors. The developed criteria for assessment of issuance is as follows:
- Certified permit disability holder
- Shift-worker - outside of what is recognised as a day shift (finishing after 6pm or commencing before 6am)
- On-call staff member
